Gum Package
a) What is the feeling you wanted your gum
package to portray? How did you achieve this?
I wanted my gum package to portray the feeling cool. I achieved this by making a fun background and I used my logo with handwriting.
b) Who are you targeting your gum to? How did
you achieve this?
I am targeting my gum female teenager. I achieved this by making the font pink and black and making the background eye attracting. I also made the saying something a girl would say.
c) What area in your design did you use Photoshop?
I did not use Photoshop, I made all of it in Illustrator.
d) More marks are given to designs that are custom created and not just taken from free vectors or free stock photography. What part of your gum
package did you custom design?
I just used the green and black background from stock photography.
Logo Assignment
a) What does your logo/tattoo represent?
My logo represents Kafia and the way i would like people to see me.
b) How did you design your logo/tattoo to represent this?
I designed my logo in a way that i would get myself out there. The pink stands for beauty. Theblack stands for bold and strong and the heart represents that i’m a loving person.

What happens when you paint part of the layer mask
…black? …white? …grey?
When you paint it black it shows the girl, when you paint it grey it shows both making it look transluscent and when you paint it white it shows the selected layer.
Assignment #2 Self Portrait
a) What were you trying to express and
how did you achieve this?
I was trying to express my love for the world and the environment. I acheived this by taking a picture of my arms i added a globe placing it at the palm of my hands.
b) What filters did you use and where?
I used the filmgrain for the mountains, Plastic wrap for the amazon pictures at the side, palette knife for my arms and the background and fresco for the globe.
b) What layer blending mode did you use and where?
i used the minimum layer blending mode and its all over the page.
c) What special brush did you use and where?The special brushes i used were the butterflies on the page and the lavendar flowers at the corners.
